HackDay Butwal is a one-day event where students and young developers come together to build projects in a focused and friendly environment. The goal is to give everyone a place to learn, create, and work together on ideas that they care about. You do not need to be an expert to participate. Anyone who is interested in building something is welcome.
During the event you will work in groups or on your own to create a working project by the end of the day. Mentors will be available to help with questions. The atmosphere is calm and supportive, so you can focus on learning and making progress. You will meet new people, share ideas, and get experience building something from start to finish.
Participants should bring their laptop and charger. Internet and workspace will be provided. At the end of the event everyone will present what they created. The purpose of Hack Day Butwal is to help you learn something new, practise your skills, and enjoy building with others in a comfortable environment.
Requirements
Your project must be created during the event. You may use libraries, frameworks, or tools that already exist, but the main work of the project should be done during HackDay Butwal.
You must submit your project on Devpost before the deadline. Your submission must include the following:
A project description that clearly explains what you built and what problem it solves.
A link to the code repository. GitHub is recommended. Make sure the repository is public so judges can view it.
A short video that shows how your project works. This can be a simple screen recording with voice. It does not need to be professional. It only needs to explain the project clearly.
Team member names. All participants who worked on the project must be listed.
Optional but helpful items include screenshots, demo links, and any extra explanation that helps judges understand your work.
Your project will be judged based on creativity, usefulness, clarity, and how well it works.
